Luna Snow "Future Fights Firsts: Luna Snow (2019)" Issue #1

Origin Story

Many of you marvel fans may know this Korean Pop star from popular appearances like within the mobile game "Marvel Future Fight" or her most recent a popular appearance within the video game "Marvel Rivals", but she has been introduced with a backstory in Future Fight Firsts: Luna Snow (2019) Issue #1, this South Korean pop star turned superhero is quickly becoming a fan favorite. But who exactly is Luna Snow, and why should you care? In this review, we’ll break down why Luna Snow is a character you need to know, analyze her origins, and explore what make her appearances in comics such as this one not good for her character

Luna Snow, aka Seol Hee, is not just your typical hero with a tragic backstory or an accidental power gain. No, Luna is a pop star who has it all fame, beauty, and a world of possibilities ahead of her. But her life takes an unexpected turn when she gains powerful ice-based abilities, forcing her to navigate the duality of her public life and her responsibilities as a superhero.

Where it goes wrong

In Future Fight Firsts: Luna Snow (2019) Issue #1, Luna’s origin is established in a way that feels unfortunately feels rushed. Unlike many classic Marvel heroes, Luna’s struggles aren't emphasized within this story and instead is replaced with a quick result to her gaining powers and becoming a new super hero. This combination gives no depth to the K-pop star and instead make her a linear and boring character to read within this issue.
